Ski course stages and learning objectives
Children aged 5 and older
Stage I at Kinderland
- Warm-up exercises
- Getting to know the equipment
- Fun exercises, walking and gliding
- First rides on the Magic Carpet
- Learning how to safely fall and get back up
- Snowplough stops
Stage II at Kinderland
- Warm-up exercises
- Repetition of exercises from the previous day (snowplough stop)
- Snowplough turn
- Learning how to safely fall and get back up
- Small slopes with fun exercises
Stage III
- Warm-up exercises
- Riding the lift (Dorfwiese Magic Carpet)
- Repetition of exercises from the previous day
- Turns without assistance
- Easy slopes with fun exercises
Stage IV
- Warm-up exercises
- Repetition of exercises from the previous day
- Turns without assistance
- Slopes with exercises and using poles
- Explanation of riding a button lift
- Conduct on the slope - FIS Rules
Stage V
- Warm-up exercises
- Skiing in steeper terrain
- Turns using poles
- Explanation of T-bar lift
- FIS rules of conduct
- Turns with acoustic signals
Stage VI (Ski safari with lunch)
- Requirement: good skiing ability
- Adventure tour => Fun factor
- Getting to know different trails
- Tips and tricks for a better technique
